Durham Micro Weddings is a dedicated boutique wedding company specializing in meaningful, intimate celebrations for couples who want a beautiful day without the stress and expense of a large-scale wedding. They believe love should be celebrated simply yet beautifully — and that a small wedding can still feel magical, stylish, and unforgettable.

Church Sanctuary
Our non-denominational church is a scenic, special locale for your very special day. This historic building holds 100 people, and is fully heated and air-conditioned.
Transportation Hall
The Transportation Hall is our largest indoor space. It is 4000 sq. feet and can hold up to 200 people in banquet style and 220 standing. The hall features high ceilings, designable space and a prep kitchen with a side door for easy catering drop off and pickup.
Pavilion & Bandstand
From exchanging vows under the open sky to celebrating with loved ones, the Pavilion & Bandstand area offers a romantic setting that will make your wedding day truly unforgettable. The main pavilion structure is 1000 sq. feet with a covered roof. It can hold up to 120 people theatre style and 170 people standing. The surrounding area is perfect for tent receptions or outdoor games and it can accommodate up to 300 guests.
Apple Shed
Lovely field space with in the back of our property surrounded by greenspace creates a natural beautiful aisle allowing for charming ceremonies up to 300 people.

- Site Photography
Markham Museum’s 25-acre site is the perfect backdrop for your photos.
The photo permit includes 2 hours access and a staff member to guide you throughout the exteriors of our grounds. Indoor venues are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
** Photography permits are required for all photos taken on site except for casual day out photos.

Markham Museum offers unique indoor and outdoor function space for all your meeting and private event needs.
Transportation Hall
The Transportation Hall is our largest indoor space. It is 4000 sq. feet and can hold up to 150 people in banquet style and 200 standing. The hall features high ceilings, designable space and a prep kitchen with a side door for easy catering drop off and pickup.
Pavilion & Bandstand
From dining under the stars to company outings, the pavilion & bandstand area will ensure an event to remember. The main pavilion structure is 1000 sq. feet with a covered roof. It can hold up to 120 people theatre style and 170 people standing. The surrounding area is perfect for tent receptions or outdoor games and it can accommodate up to 500 guests.
South Gallery
Located in the main collections building, the South Gallery is great for meetings and intimate functions. For more privacy, a separate entrance maybe arranged. The gallery features a prep kitchen that adjusts to an open concept bar and a large back patio for all your event needs. This space holds up to 25 guests.

- Birthday Parties
The Museum offers programmed birthday packages for children aged 4 to 13 (maximum 20 children and 20 adults)
